Black River Turtle (Tortuga Negra del Río), Rhinoclemmys funerea, also called the Black Wood Turtle, basking on a log in the Tortuguero River (Rio Tortuguero) in Tortuguero National Park, Costa Rica. Listed as Near-Threatened in the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species.
