Two Spotted Hyenas, Crocuta crocuta, greet each other in Lake Nakuru National Park, Kenya. The individual on the left could be male or female. Female hyenas have an enlarged clitoris or pseudopenis that is so similar to male genitalia that it can be impossible to tell the sexes apart in the field.
